Sick Policy
When ill students attend school, they slow their own recovery and pose a health risk for their classmates.
A student should not attend school if they:
– have a fever
– persistent severe pain
– severe cold symptoms
– have been vomiting
– have diarrhea
Children exhibiting any of these symptoms while at school will be sent home.
The school can not dispense medications. If your child requires medication, please give it to your child before school starts or after school.
Lunch Program
Students may bring for their own lunches box or purchase the Cafe de Vie with Chef Raul hot lunch program.
Chef Raul will be using a program called MealManage to streamline the lunch choosing and buying process. On the MealManage platform, parents will be able to choose lunch from the offered menus, purchase the lunch, add money to their child(ren)'s account, and manage their email notifications.
Food & Snacks
Students are responsible for their own lunches or register for the hot lunch program, and snacks.
Refrigeration is not available, and students do not have access to a microwave.
Maternelle and Elementary students are asked to bring a morning snack from home. Snacks are not provided for after-school or clubs. Please pack a snack for your child(dren).
Nut Free Policy
FASRI has a nut free policy. Please check the ingredients of packaged foods when sending your child(ren) to school with a snack. Please do not make snacks that contain nuts for your child(ren) to bring to school. Please refrain from packing candy for your child(ren) as candy often contains traces of nut products.
