The French American School of Rhode Island's five weeks of summer camp are designed to provide children (French + non-French speakers alike) with the opportunity to explore a wide range of theme-based activities: cooking, craft, science and sports in a safe and caring environment. Our staff is bilingual and works all along with children.

GENERAL SUMMER CAMP DETAILS:

- Camp counselors come from FASRI's team of teaching assistants and afterschool staff
- Camp Schedule: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
- Campers must bring their lunch & snack each day
- Campers must be fully potty-trained
- Daily nap & quiet time at mid-day for younger campers
- Weekly rate: $300 - $375
- Full 5 weeks: $1725
Week 1
June 15 – June 18: "Les Sports d'été!" - Sports Week - $300 (No camp on June 19 for Juneteenth)
Improve your balance, coordination, sportsmanship,
teamwork, and endurance while learning about different
kinds of sports and games with your friends.
Come play soccer, relay races, baseball, dodgeball and badminton.
Week 2
June 22 – June 26: "Le Royaume des Animaux" - Animal Kingdom Week - $375
Join us for an exciting week at summer camp where students dive into the wonders of the animal kingdom! From hands-on activities to engaging lessons, campers will explore animal behavior, habitats, and conservation. Through interactive games, crafts, and outdoor adventures, they’ll learn about the incredible creatures that share our world. It’s a week of discovery, fun, and adventure—perfect for young nature enthusiasts!
Week 3
June 29 – July 3: Around Europe in 5 days - $375
Embark on an exciting European adventure at summer camp! Over five fun-filled days, students will explore the rich cultures, history, and traditions of different countries in Europe. Through interactive activities, crafts, and games, campers will learn about famous landmarks, languages, and cuisines from countries like France, Italy, Spain, and more. It’s a week of global discovery and adventure, perfect for young explorers!
Week 4
July 6 – July 10: "Les petits scientifiques" - Mad Science - $375
Get ready for a week of scientific discovery at summer camp! Campers will dive into the fascinating world of science through hands-on experiments, exciting activities, and interactive lessons. From exploring the wonders of space to learning about the forces of nature, students will ignite their curiosity and have a blast while discovering how science shapes our world. It’s a week full of fun, learning, and exploration!
Week 5
July 13 - July 17: Ocean Week - $375
Dive into an ocean of adventure at summer camp! This week, students will explore the mysteries of the sea through fun activities, exciting lessons, and hands-on experiments. From learning about marine life and ecosystems to discovering the importance of ocean conservation, campers will gain a deeper understanding of our planet's oceans. It’s a week of discovery, exploration, and endless fun under the sea!
WHAT TO BRING / WEAR (please label all belongings)
- Daily lunch (no nuts, please) and a drink
- A refillable water bottle
- Sunblock
- Bug spray
- Bathing suit
- Water shoes
- Towel (campers will go to the pool in the afternoon)
- A full change of clothes (including underwear, sock, and shoes)
- A blanket and pillow (Pre-K)
- Any allergy medication (EpiPen, inhaler, etc.) if needed
- A bag for your camper’s belongings
