Student Services Providers

Experienced, motivated and reliable Student Services Providers needed to promote and support the school day program and/or after school program offered at FASRI. The Student Services Provider is an educator closely working with faculty and the team of other Student Services Providers. They primarily act as supervisors during school hours and after-school hours, and are responsible for the physical security and safety and emotional well-being of the students. They also engage in pedagogical and educational activities, contributing to the overall quality of the teaching and learning experience of FASRI students.

Full time position: The Student Services Provider supervises student lunch and recess in the school day program, and occasionally covers classes. They also engage in the after school program, running fun educational activities. (Regular hours of work: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm)

Specific Duties Include:

• Supervise students during school and after-school hours
• Cover classes when teachers are absent
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Provide supervised pedagogical and educational activities
• Act as a learning facilitator, assisting students in setting and reaching individual goals, helping with homework if needed during after-school hours
• Engage in learning projects and/or administrative tasks, as assigned by their supervisors, such as, but not limited to, the yearbook project, the Gala event, and other events

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Supervised learning: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute: Providence, RI 02906 (Required)
