Transportation

Currently, the cities of Cranston, Lincoln, Pawtucket, Providence and Smithfield Public Schools provide bus transportation to FASRI. In general, children of kindergarten age and older may take the school bus, though younger siblings may also be eligible for transport depending on the city.

For residents of Providence, Pawtucket, Lincoln and Cranston, please contact FASRI if you are interested in learning more about school bus transportation for your child and we would be happy to make those arrangements.

To obtain service from all other towns, you should contact the local School Department directly.

To date, the city of East Greenwich and Warwick do not provide bus service to Providence and Cumberland and Coventry do not provide busses to private schools.

FASRI does not coordinate the bus pick up or drop off for children and cannot be responsible for individual schedules. Please ensure that your child knows his or her own schedule and bus number.

If your child is a regular bus rider and for whatever reason will not take the bus on a particular occasion, please let the front office know in advance at 401 274 3325.

CARPOOLING: a RIPTA/Rideshare program facilitating carpooling by putting families in touch with each other is available, visit AlterNetRides for details. Other schools using this service include Lasalle Academy, Bayview Academy and Bishop Hendricken School.
