Francophonie 2012: Levée du Drapeau
FASRI cordially invites the community to participate in free events celebrating French language and francophone culture on Tuesday, March 20 and Thursday March 22.
On Tuesday, March 20 the FASRI choir will kick off the celebration as the official Francophonie flag is raised at the Rhode Island State House at 1pm. At 3.30pm, the celebration moves to FASRI, where there will be student led tours and a presentation of FASRI and dual language education. The day will conclude with a reception at 6pm at the Alliance Francaise of Providence.
POSTPONED, PLEASE NOTE: “Le Carnaval des Animaux” by Camille St Saens will be performed in the FASRI auditorium, featuring Alexey Shabalin, renowned violinist and Providence College music professor. DATE TO BE CONFIRMED.
