Class Parents

The FASRI Class Parent Program, an integral part of the Parents' Association, is designed to facilitate class cohesiveness and strengthen the overall school community. The Class Parents' role includes welcoming new members to FASRI and supporting other events listed below. There are two Class Parents per class and a Class Parent Coordinator, who is part of the PA’s Executive Committee. Class Parents:

  • Attend PA meetings
  • Take the lead in either recruiting or volunteering for events such as the Admissions Open Houses and the faculty appreciation luncheon
  • Coordinate, as necessary, parent-provided refreshments and supplies for  special class events (as requested by the teachers)
  • Host one Café Day during the year (with one or more other classes)
