FASRI Parents' Association
The FASRI Parents' Association (PA) is an organization that meets regularly during the school year. Its goals are to:
- Enrich the quality of each student's experience at FASRI by fundraising and encouraging the involvement of parents in the School's programs and activities;
- Support FASRI in its educational, social and nurturing roles;
- Support effective communication among the FASRI community, its administration, its faculty, its alumnae, and its parents body;
- Provide a vehicle for the expression and resolution of concerns shared by parents or any group of parents;
- Support parents in preparing their children for satisfying and productive lives.
The FASRI PA has class representatives who provide direct support for each class and its teachers, and an Administrative Committee that organizes and facilitates monthly meetings. Parents' Association meetings are held bi-monthly on the first Wednesday of the month, at 8:30am.
Among the annual activities supported by the PA are the Soccer Program; Annual School Family Picnic; the Mardi Gras Bal; Teacher Appreciation Luncheon; Family Fun Events; Open House and End of the Year show receptions. The PA is also involved in various fundraising activities to help provide for extracurricular activities for our children.
