In the event of bad weather, announcements will be carried by TV Channel 10, ABC 6, CBS 12, CW 28, RI PBS/ Channel 36, and WNAC-FOX, and radio stations WSNE, and WHJY. If FASRI is not mentioned on these channels, this means that the school is open as usual. FASRI usually closes in the event of a Providence parking ban, but you should check the media for confirmation or visit one of the following websites NBC Turn to 10, ABC 6, CBS 12, CW, PBS, or FOX.
A message will be left on the school answering machine by 6.30am if there is a delay or closing. EVEN IF THERE IS NO CLOSING OR DELAY MESSAGE POSTED ON THIS PAGE, PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK BY GOING TO THE CHANNEL 10 WEBSITE.
There is no early morning drop off on days with delayed starts or on days when there is more than two inches of snowfall.
