Enrichment Programs

Integrated programs encouraging social integration and leadership skills are added to the curriculum to enrich the children's experience at FASRI. Children develop self-control, movement coordination skills, team spirit, discover the challenge and satisfaction of solving problems with peers, experience feelings of well-being and self-esteem and increase their physical strength and endurance.

2009/10 Enrichment programs:

• Pre-school and Pre-K: dance and movement
• Kindergarten: karate and swimming
• Elementary: skating and swimming

Rotating enrichment programs have also included according to grade: yoga, cooking, puppets, arts and crafts, drama, dance, African rhythm and drumming, music, circus workshop, hip hop, etc.…

Extra-curricular activities: offered through the After School Program, activities include Latin (fourth and fifth grades), Fencing, Robotics (middle school) computer workshops, theatre, etc.…
