Alumni
In order to support our alumni, we offer a continuing French Program which allows them to keep up with their French in a structured and enjoyable way. Classes take place once a week while school is in session as follows:
- FASRI Alumni aged 10-13 Wednesdays 4.15 to 6.15pm
- FASRI Alumni aged 14-16 Mondays 4 to 5.30pm
Both programs maintain and reinforce students' language skills through two approaches:
- academic: review of spelling and main points of grammar, written and oral comprehension and expression: how to express and argue a point of view and narrate a story.
- contextual: through the study of documents such as novels, plays, newspaper and magazine articles, excerpts from TV, movies and radio, students learn to understand and analyze the structure of the language and, beyond it, the world around them.
Some After School activities are open to Alumni to enable them to practice their French in a fun way. For details, please check the After School calendar. Alumni are part of the FASRI community and are invited and encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities and cultural events organized by the school.
